In November 1971, a group of friends from the Gunsmoke TV crew, including blues enthusiast Link Wyler, took a break from production to film a blues concert featuring Muddy Waters, Big Mama Thornton, Big Joe Turner, and George "Harmonica" Smith as they toured the Pacific Northwest.
