Évolution

The movie takes place on a remote island or possibly another planet, where a boy named Nicolas lives with a community of young women and boys. The village is characterized by white-painted houses above the sea, with a volcanic rock and black sand coastline. Nicolas discovers something in the ocean, but his mother and the other women in the town seem to be hiding the truth. As Nicolas becomes more curious and starts to explore, he witnesses unsettling scenes and is eventually taken to a hospital-like building where he undergoes medical procedures.
