Aspiring hip hop artist Elijah, also known as MC Ellipsis, is haunted by recurring visions that connect him to his childhood. These visions take him to another plane, where he's forced to confront his past. Elijah's childhood memories, including fishing trips with his father in Louisiana, play a significant role in his visions. He's deeply attached to his microphone, which was given to him by his older brother John, and losing it would be like reliving his past losses and losing himself.
