Bruce Farrer, a local legend in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, began his teaching career in 1961 as a historian and weatherman with his own meteorological station. For four decades, he had his students write 10-page letters to their future selves, set 20 years in the future. As Farrer approaches the end of his mission, he searches for a former student to deliver the last letter. Meanwhile, former students share their experiences and how Farrer's letters impacted their lives.
