The Bouncing Souls, a punk band from New Jersey, wrote a song called "Braindead" in 1987, which was terrible but also fun. This led them to leave college and pursue music full-time. Over the next 15 years, they signed with Epitaph Records, toured four continents, and played with many legendary punk bands. Despite struggling with obscurity, homelessness, and mental and vehicular breakdowns, the band's music was born out of their experiences.
