Die Mädels vom Immenhof background

Die Mädels vom Immenhof

Three orphaned sisters, Angela, Barbara, and Brigitte, discover a new sense of belonging with their Oma Jantzen in Eutin, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, after fleeing East Prussia following World War II.

In 1954, three orphaned sisters settle with their Oma in a 18th-century manor house in Schleswig-Holstein, where they breed and sell ponies. The family faces financial struggles, threatening to auction off their possessions. Their lives are disrupted by the arrival of their posh cousin, Ethelbert, who makes a fool of himself in his riding gear. Meanwhile, romance blossoms between Jochen von Roth, a former POW, and Angela, one of the sisters.
