Wealthy filmmaker Cal Montero, recently paralyzed from the waist down, seeks recovery and physical therapy at his hacienda in Negros, while struggling to maintain control over his life. Meanwhile, his therapist Annie may be harboring ulterior motives, and Cal's wife Gail finds solace with a hacienda worker, Satur. As tensions rise, Cal sets a spy on Gail, who longs to return to Manila to find work, and the threat of infidelity sparks a sense of violence, with Cal arming himself with a shotgun.
