A young French filmmaker travels to an Indigenous village in the Amazon to document an ancient ritual. He falls in love with a local girl and becomes involved in daily life, but soon realizes the threat of deforestation and loggers destroying the rainforest. He decides to use his camera to document the struggle and takes the footage to Rio de Janeiro to raise awareness among younger generations.
