A diverse group of senior athletes, including a 100-year-old tennis legend and others in their 80s, come together to compete in the 2009 National Senior Games, finding camaraderie, renewed passion, and a fresh sense of vitality.

At the 2009 National Senior Games, a diverse group of athletes from across the country prepare to compete in their respective events. Among them are a 100-year-old tennis player from Cape Cod, two brothers from Washington, D.C. who are both in their 80s and excel in swimming, a Texas widower who finds solace in training, and an 86-year-old champion in field events who is determined to break the world record in the pole vault for athletes over 80.
