A mysterious epidemic of progressive paralysis sweeps through Berlin, killing most of the city's inhabitants in a matter of days. The remaining survivors, trapped in their bodies as paralysis spreads from limb to limb, are isolated and dying. Amidst the chaos, a few individuals still able to walk may pose a greater threat than the epidemic itself.
