An Englishman, having assimilated an American accent during his US stint, is drafted into the British Army during World War II, only to suffer an injury that erases his memory. Due to his peculiar accent, doctors send him back to the States, where he's taken in by a New York family. In the aftermath of the war, the group embarks on a European journey to find the women he still recalls, hoping to revive his lost memories.
