In a not-too-distant future, Joel Robinson is held captive on the Satellite of Love, where he's subjected to a never-ending barrage of B-movies by his sadistic captors, Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank, alongside his robotic companions Cambot, Gypsy, Tom Servo, and Crow T. Robot.

Joel, a hapless janitor, is abducted by a quirky scientist and his assistant, who blast him off into space aboard a bizarre satellite.
