The show "Pole Position" is a loose adaptation of the video game series by Namco, following the Darretts, a family of stunt-driving crime fighters who investigate and thwart crimes under the guise of a traveling stunt show. The family is sponsored by the US government, who employs them as field agents. After the death of their parents, siblings Tess and Dan take on the role of agents, with Tess being logical and Dan being emotional. They care for their preteen sister Daisy and are aided by their wheelchair-bound uncle, Dr. Zachary Darrett, who provides their vehicles and equipment.
