In the small town of Yasogawa, a quiet and unassuming young man named Koichi Sakakibara starts at a new school, only to find himself entangled in a dark and eerie mystery surrounding a reclusive girl and a series of gruesome and unexplained murders.
A transfer student, Sakakibara Kouichi, joins a class that has been carrying on as if a popular honors student and athlete, Misaki, who died 26 years ago, is still alive. He notices a strange atmosphere and becomes suspicious of Mei Misaki, a reclusive girl with an eye-patch who spends her time drawing.
