A Native American teenager and his grandmother resurrect an ancient Chippewa demon, the Windigo, to protect their family from back-woods meth dealers. However, they soon realize that the creature's desire for killing is uncontrollable, and the teen's bond with it grows stronger with each murder. The family must now find a way to break the curse before they become the Windigo's next victims.
