Two pampered socialites, naive to the harsh realities of the Great Depression, are duped into leaving their luxurious Manhattan lifestyle behind and starting anew in Washington State. After inadvertently dispatching a hired assassin sent to silence them, they become stranded in the wilderness with a bounty on their heads. To survive, they must form an uneasy partnership with a rugged mountain man, haunted by his own troubled past.
