Martín, a 42-year-old TV presenter, tells his partner Leonardo, a 45-year-old agronomist, that he wants to adopt a baby. Leonardo, who was adopted himself, has doubts. As they navigate the adoption process, Martín attends a support group for prospective parents, while Leonardo's doubts affect his work. They meet two orphaned brothers, Raúl and Benjamín, at a children's transit home, which leads them to reevaluate their priorities.
