A young nurse, struggling with heroin addiction, loses her daughter and is on the brink of losing her job. Desperate, she finds solace in drug use, but a near-fatal overdose lands her in the hospital where she works, where she meets a janitor named Clayton. He claims to have saved her from a life of drugs and the horrors of the world, and takes her to his makeshift bunker in the countryside.
