Saigon Metalhood chronicles the journey of three generations of Vietnamese metalheads, from the origins of heavy metal in Vietnam to the current struggles of the scene. The story is told through the lives of three characters: Trung Thanh Sago, a legendary rock musician who started his career as a teenager playing for US soldiers; Trung Loki, a former extreme music pioneer who has struggled with addiction and personal demons; and a group of young friends who form the agency Legacy CO, aiming to make the Vietnamese metal scene internationally relevant.
