In the California gold rush, a group of vigilantes, led by Jim Benton and Tombstone, protect miners from a fake Protection League. After a successful raid, they're toasting their victory at the saloon when a wounded old prospector reveals he's found the Lost Aztec mine. He asks Benton to give his share to his niece, Mary Morgan, before passing away. Just then, Benton receives a tip that a gang plans to rob the stagecoach, which Mary and Tombstone are on, and they must act fast to save them.
