A young drifter, Eddie Moore, faces harassment from corrupt law enforcement in the small town of Rockfield. He finds an ally in waitress Camille "Cam" Johnson and together they evade the sheriff and his deputy, who seek revenge after a business critic is killed. Endless car chases and shootouts ensue as Eddie and Cam try to survive.
