Joby Ogwyn embarked on a daring expedition to Mount Everest, accompanied by Discovery Channel filmmakers, with the ambitious goal of summiting the mountain and then skydiving off its towering North Face.

Camerman Joby Ogwyn embarked on a daring adventure to climb Mt Everest, planning to jump off the North Face and glide down to base camp using his parachute. However, his expedition was disrupted when a massive section of the ice wall, the size of a mansion, broke off and triggered an avalanche on April 18th, 2014, as Sherpas from all climbing teams, including Joby's, navigated the treacherous ice wall.
