A pregnant woman, Sun-yeong, takes a taxi to her mother's home, but the driver is interrupted by a mysterious stranger who speaks in gibberish and claims to know Sun-yeong and the driver. As the stranger counts down, the taxi stops and everyone falls unconscious. Awakening in a deserted field, Sun-yeong searches for help at a nearby rest area, only to find a village where all technology has ceased to function and people are vanishing one by one.
