Double Solitaire background

Double Solitaire

During World War II, two brothers, descendants of Japanese immigrants, are torn from their everyday life and forced to adapt to the harsh conditions of the Amache internment camp, leaving their beloved hobbies of bowling, cards, and pinball behind.

A filmmaker explores her father's and uncle's experiences as third-generation Japanese Americans, including their time in an internment camp during World War II, and uncovers connections between their present lives and the history they left behind.
