Too often, people with disabilities are marginalized and face many barriers to having their voices heard by society. Be My Brother is a short film that gives a voice to one young man's story, inspired by lead actor Gerard O'Dwyer, a Sydney-based actor with Down Syndrome who is also an avid swimmer. The film challenges audiences to look beyond the exterior label of "disability" and recognize the many abilities that exist.
