Zeb Halsell was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, and spent his childhood on a ranch near the once-thriving town of Halsell, Texas, which was established in 1900 but eventually dissolved when the city of Wichita Falls acquired over 16,000 acres of land by eminent domain to build a lake that ultimately submerged the town underwater.
At the age of sixteen, Mr. Halsell made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles in 2006 to get a head start on his higher education and pursue a degree in finance. Through his professional network, he was encouraged to explore opportunities in the entertainment industry, leading to numerous film, television, and commercial appearances.
Outside of the entertainment world, Mr. Halsell has ventured into business, with a focus on the energy and technology sectors. He is the CEO of Halsell Minerals, a Dallas-based exploration and production company that specializes in acquiring and divesting prolific oil and gas assets in the Permian Basin of West Texas. With over 300 transactions worth more than $250 million, the company has established itself as a leader in organic acquisitions within the energy industry.
Furthermore, Mr. Halsell is the Founder and CEO of Halsell, a proprietary software company that develops artificial intelligence and collaboration tools designed to enhance the workflow of enterprise businesses. Leveraging nationwide real estate data and conversational AI, the company's workspace suite aims to increase productivity and streamline business processes.
