Zandashé Brown is a Louisiana-born-and-based storyteller whose remarkable work masterfully weaves together spirituality, catharsis, and a deep understanding of the rural Black experience, all set against the haunting backdrop of southern gothic horror. Her creative endeavors have garnered significant support from esteemed organizations, including the renowned Sundance Institute, the Tribeca Film Festival, the prestigious Chanel brand, the innovative Kickstarter platform, and the New Orleans Film Society, where she plays a vital role in curating narrative films for the highly respected New Orleans Film Festival.
As a talented alumnus, Zandashé Brown has had the privilege of participating in several esteemed programs, including the 2022 Sundance Writers Lab, where she honed her craft alongside other accomplished writers; the 2020 Tribeca Chanel Through Her Lens Women's Mentorship Program, which provided her with valuable guidance and support from industry professionals; and the 2015 New Orleans Film Society Emerging Voices Program, a initiative designed to nurture the creative potential of emerging filmmakers.
