Zak Knutson, a multifaceted creative force, hails from Los Angeles, where he has established himself as a prominent producer, writer, and director.
In 2005, Knutson co-founded Chop Shop Entertainment, a filmed entertainment company that has made a significant impact in the industry by providing added value materials to all of the major studios, as well as numerous independent production companies. Notably, Chop Shop Entertainment has played a leading role in supplying an abundance of movie-based content for the internet, outpacing many of its competitors.
After a successful tenure at Chop Shop Entertainment, Knutson parted ways with the company in 2015, embarking on new creative endeavors.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Knutson has also ventured into international filmmaking. In the summer of 2010, he spent several months in Mexico City, where he was involved in the production of Get the Gringo, a feature film starring the acclaimed actor Mel Gibson.
