Zachary Gulka, a Canadian actor discovered, his passion for acting at a very early age. Born in Saskatchewan, he and his family moved around frequently, eventually settling in Alberta where he immersed himself in the world of theatre. He attended Theatre Alberta and joined a local theatre company in Calgary, where he spent two consecutive years playing significant roles in major productions.
After graduating from high school in 2010, Zachary moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, to pursue a career in film and television. He split his training between Vancouver and Los Angeles, and his breakthrough role came in the critically acclaimed TV series "Supernatural" on The CW. He was nominated for "Best Emerging Performer" at the UBCP/ACTRA Awards in 2015 in Vancouver for his portrayal of Mickey, the sarcastic Gas n' Sip clerk.
Zachary has since appeared in various film and television roles, including "The Flash" and "Frequency" on The CW, as well as "Benchwarmers 2: Breaking Balls" for Universal Pictures. He played Arthur Wilde, the neurotic sidekick to Chris Klein, in the comedy sequel. He also had a recurring role in three episodes of Netflix's "Ghost Wars," where he played the edgy small-town bully Jesse, alongside Avan Jogia and Kim Coates.
Currently residing in Vancouver, Zachary works as a writer and voiceover actor in the film industry. He has written and produced two films, "I Dare You" and "Vinny's Girl," both of which received recognition for their writing and cinematography. "I Dare You" was chosen by Telefilm Canada to represent Canada and screen at the 69th Annual Festival de Cannes in France.
