Yoon Kye Sang's journey as a member of the iconic South Korean pop group g.o.d began in 1997, when he was recruited as a result of his father's suggestion to audition on a whim. The group, consisting of five members, debuted on January 13, 1999, and released their first album, "god Chapter 1," on January 26, 1999.
As a member of g.o.d, Yoon Kye Sang was part of a remarkable group that released a total of five albums between 1999 and 2002. These albums included "god Chapter 2," released on November 25, 1999; "Chapter 3 Lies," released on November 3, 2000; "Chapter 4 Road," released on November 16, 2001; and "Chapter 5 Letter," released on December 26, 2002.
g.o.d's massive popularity in Korea led to a concert held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium in 2001, a venue that had previously hosted the 1988 Summer Olympics and the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The group was also chosen to participate in the official album for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, "True East Side."
From 2002 to 2003, g.o.d embarked on their 100 Days Human Concert, a remarkable series of concerts dedicated to their fans. This period marked the beginning of Yoon Kye Sang's growing interest in acting, which he would eventually pursue full-time.
In 2004, Yoon Kye Sang left g.o.d to serve his compulsory 2-year military service in Korea. After completing his service in 2006, he continued to re-brand himself as an actor and model. During his time as a g.o.d member, Yoon Kye Sang's natural charm, infectious smile, and growing good looks won him a large fan base, along with his fellow group members.
Today, Yoon Kye Sang is working on his latest movie, "Executioners," which is slated for release in 2009. He is also working on his photo book and is dedicated to pursuing his passion for photography.
