Yareli, a multifaceted actress, has made a name for herself in the film industry through her diverse and extensive range of characters. Her most notable roles include Rosaura, the "mean" sister in the iconic film "Like Water for Chocolate", and Lila, "the missing link" in the critically acclaimed film "A Day Without a Mexican", which she co-wrote and produced.

Born in Mexico City, Yareli is proud of her "Amexican" heritage, a term she uses to describe her unique blend of Mexican and American cultures.
