Prior to his tenure with the team, Wang Yao had already acquired valuable experience in the Hong Kong film scene, having contributed to various projects as a skilled stunt performer and occasional actor. One of his most iconic and enduring roles was that of "Ding Dong" in the 1980 film, The Leg Fighters, a character that has become inextricably linked with Wang Yao's impressive body of work.
