Actress Yana Yanezic was born in Slovenia, a former Yugoslavian republic, to a medical scientist mother and a technologist-inventor father. From a young age, she began performing in ice-skating and ballet performances, initially showcasing her talents at the age of eight.
Yana's passion for dance led her to study at prestigious institutions, including the Ballet Academy of Ljubljana-Slovenia, London Studio Centre UK, Royal Academy Of Dancing UK, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Her professional dance career in Slovenia eventually expanded to the UK, where she was offered a talent sponsorship.
In addition to her dance pursuits, Yana also pursued academic studies at Poljane Grammar School in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she earned a degree in Economics.
Fluent in multiple languages, Yana speaks English, Slovenian, Serbian, Croatian, conversational Italian, and Russian.
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Yana is a skilled athlete, having achieved a gold medal in Tae-Kwon-Do and being an avid ice skater. After an extensive dance career, she transitioned to acting, showcasing her versatility and talent in the entertainment industry.
