Yana Titova, a talented actress, was born on February 26, 1983, in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. At the tender age of 14, while pursuing her passion for piano and singing at the prestigious Musical School in Plovdiv, she landed the coveted role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, marking the beginning of her illustrious acting career.
As she continued to hone her craft, Yana received her degree in acting from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia in 2007. Her impressive performance as Irina in Chekhov's Three Sisters earned her the prestigious Best Young Actress Bulgarian Theater Award-Askeer, solidifying her position as a rising star in the Bulgarian theater scene.
Yana's talents soon caught the attention of directors and producers, and she was invited to join both the Youth Theater and the National Theater "Ivan Vazov", where she showcased her versatility by playing a wide range of characters. Her breakthrough role in the film Footsteps in the Sand earned her the Bulgarian Film Academy Award, further cementing her status as a talented young actress.
By 2011, Yana had established herself as one of the leading ladies of Bulgarian cinema, with her outstanding performances in films such as Hunting Down Small Predators, which earned her the Bulgarian Film Academy Award and the Golden Rose Film Festival Award. The same year, she attended the Moscow International Film Festival to present her latest film, Krapetz, which was featured in the main competition.
Yana's impressive work ethic allowed her to balance the summer by starring in two films, Sound Hunters, where she played a glamorous and famous singer from the 1960s, and 2cm South from the Temple, where her character struggled with the verge of a mental breakdown.
