Biography

Xavier Georges, a talented Canadian production designer hailing from Montreal, Quebec, pursued his passion for the arts by studying Arts & Communications at Concordia University.

Georges has dedicated a significant portion of his career to the performing arts, boasting a diverse range of experience in theatre, television, corporate events, music videos, commercials, shorts, and feature films.

Prior to his relocation to Newfoundland and Labrador in 2006, Georges served as the owner and artistic director of Lox Design from 1994 to 1999.

In his new home, he founded the Cultural Network of the Fédération des francophone de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador (FFTNL),a testament to his commitment to fostering cultural exchange and development.

Georges also ventured into the world of broadcasting by establishing a French radio station, Rafale FM, in 2008.

In 2011, he brought his vision to life by producing and directing the documentary "Frolic : Une balade de ports en ports."

Georges continued to push boundaries by founding Sibelle Productions!, the first French production company in the province, in 2014.

His impressive repertoire also includes the creation and production of the documentary series "Hors Circuits," which premiered on UNIS TV in Canada and later gained international recognition on TV5 Monde.
