Xander Turian is a multi-talented individual who has made a significant impact in the film industry since his entry in 2013. He began his career by playing the lead in the music video for his band, Our Untold Story's first single "Hell House", and subsequently started working as an extra in Swedish commercials and TV shows.
He then pursued his passion for acting by studying theatre in Stockholm and later enrolling at the prestigious Prague Film School, where he graduated with honours from the Acting for Film program in 2018. His impressive academic record earned him a spot with his agent, Caprice Crawford of Crawford Talents, and he received tutelage from renowned acting and filmmaking teachers such as Bernard Hiller, Mel Churcher, and Dov S-S Simens.
Xander's early career was marked by a series of short films and TV shows, including a recurring role alongside Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne in "Carnival Row" and a guest spot in "The Defeated" opposite Taylor Kitsch. His outstanding performances earned him several awards, including Best Actor In An Indie Film at the New York Film Awards, and he participated in various panels, documentaries, and interviews that were broadcast globally.
In 2017, Xander ventured into direction, production, and acting with the successful horror short "Rotten Love", which was selected by numerous film festivals worldwide and won 17 awards. He also collaborated on one of Sweden's most popular horror films of the year, "Sargad", as both an actor and producer.
As a musician, Xander tours between acting jobs, and his band, Our Untold Story, released their debut album "My Dreams, My Rules" in June 2018. The band has received various award nominations, including the Bronze Medal award at the Global Music Awards in 2017 and Best Original Song at The Oniros Film Awards.
In 2022, Xander further solidified his credentials by graduating from the prestigious Raindance Filmschool in London with a Master of Arts degree in filmmaking. His graduation film "The Gig", which is a fictional depiction of his history with Our Untold Story, is the latest addition to his growing portfolio of projects.
