Woody McClain, a talented individual with a multifaceted career, was born in Portsmouth, England, before relocating to Jacksonville, Florida in his senior year of high school. He subsequently made the move to Los Angeles in 2012, driven by his ambition to establish himself as a professional dancer.
Throughout his career as a dancer, Woody had the opportunity to perform alongside numerous prominent artists, including Chris Brown and Fifth Harmony. His exceptional skills and dedication earned him a reputation as a sought-after dancer.
As his dancing career progressed, Woody discovered a hidden talent for creating humorous content. His comedic abilities caught the attention of Kevin Hart, who signed him to HartBeat Digital in December 2015. This marked the beginning of Woody's journey in the world of comedy.
Woody's breakthrough in acting came when he landed the lead role of Bobby Brown in BET's The New Edition Story. His impressive performance led to him being cast in the subsequent series, BET's Bobby Brown Story. His upcoming projects include the film Canal Street, in which he will play the character MayMay, set to release in February 2018.
In addition to his acting endeavors, Woody is currently executive producing his own creation, Stories with Kev. This streaming series, produced in collaboration with Kevin Hart, features Woody playing the role of Kevin, based on Hart's most iconic stories and stand-up bits.
