Winter-Lee Holland, a talented actress, made her mark on the industry with her role in the 2016 film "LOVING".
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she is the youngest of six children and was raised by her father, Pervis Pue, a construction worker from Batesburg, South Carolina. Growing up in New Haven, Connecticut, Winter-Lee was led to God at an early age and continues to find solace in her faith.
Her academic pursuits took her to Arizona State University, where she studied Fine Arts. After completing her studies, she returned to Philadelphia and began her career in stand-up comedy, hosting comedy clubs alongside up-and-coming comedians. Her next move was to New York, where she landed lead roles in numerous theatre productions.
In August 2015, Winter-Lee's life took a dramatic turn when she was cast in the film "LOVING", playing the role of Mildred Loving's mother, alongside the Oscar-nominated Ruth Negga.
