Biography

William Kerwin, a talented character actor, may be most famously associated with the horror movies of Herschell Gordon Lewis, yet he has concurrently maintained a distinguished career in both stage and screen productions, as well as television. From a relatively early age, Kerwin received formal training in the art of stage acting, and went on to appear in a multitude of plays and Broadway shows, showcasing his versatility and range as a performer.

Throughout his illustrious acting career, Kerwin has had the pleasure of collaborating with his wife, Connie Mason, a former actress, whom he met on the set of the horror classic "Blood Feast" (1963). The couple has worked together on numerous projects, sharing the spotlight and their passion for the craft. Additionally, Kerwin has had the opportunity to collaborate with his brother, Harry Kerwin, with whom he co-founded the San Diego Actor's Theatre in the 1950s. The two brothers have also appeared together in several films, solidifying their bond as both family members and creative partners.
