William Karel, a man of extraordinary background and accomplishments, was born in the culturally rich and diverse nation of Tunisia. Prior to embarking on his life's journey, Karel spent formative years in the City of Light, Paris, where he acquired a solid foundation in education. Subsequently, he made the bold decision to emigrate to the Land of Promise, Israel, where he resided for a decade within the confines of a kibbutz, a unique and communal way of life.
After a decade of immersion in Israeli culture, Karel returned to his ancestral homeland, France, in 1981. He spent over a decade honing his skills as a photographer, capturing the world through the lens of his camera. However, his creative endeavors soon shifted gears, as he dedicated himself to the art of writing and directing. This marked the beginning of a prolific career, during which he would go on to create numerous documentaries that would leave a lasting impact on the world.
In 1995, Karel's tireless efforts were rewarded with an Emmy Award for his documentary masterpiece, J.F. Kennedy. This prestigious recognition was merely the beginning of a long list of accomplishments, as Karel continued to write and direct numerous documentaries that would captivate audiences worldwide. Some of his most notable works include the thought-provoking "Dark Side of the Moon" and the expose-style documentary "CIA's Secret Wars", which shed light on the often shrouded world of espionage and international politics.
