William J. Stribling is a multi-talented individual, exceling as a director, screenwriter, and producer. His impressive filmography boasts award-winning films such as Bear with Us, Down in Flames: the True Story of Tony "Volcano" Valenci, Lies I Told My Little Sister, Beyond Belief, and Break A Leg, all of which enjoyed successful runs at film festivals.
Bear with Us, a film co-written and co-produced with Russ Nickel, spent a year garnering awards on the festival circuit before securing distribution with Comedy Dynamics in 2017. The film stars Christy Carlson Romano and Cheyenne Jackson.
In 2017, Stribling and Nickel co-created a series for Adaptive Studios called Stellar People, starring Danny Tamberelli and Rory Albanese from The Daily Show.
Stribling's first feature film, Lies I Told My Little Sister, was a "Geena Davis Selection" from her inaugural Bentonville Film Festival and subsequently released on DVD and streaming by ARC Entertainment.
Currently residing and working in Los Angeles, Stribling recently directed the popular YouTube series Edgar Allen Poe's Murder Mystery Dinner Party, produced by Shipwrecked Comedy.
In the near future, Stribling has two feature films slated for production with RBF Productions. He also works closely with the Latinx band Making Movies as a music video director and creative consultant.
In 2020, Stribling's science fiction/action/comedy short film "The Speed of Time" was released on DUST. The film stars John Hennigan, a WWE star, and Sean Marquette, known for ABC's The Goldbergs.
Stribling holds a Bachelor's degree in Film & TV Production and Dramatic Literature from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, as well as a Master's degree in screenwriting from Chapman University.
