Biography

Noted thespian, who erstwhile pursued a career in the legal profession, but ultimately opted to trade in his courtroom attire for a life on the silver screen. This duality of professions, though seemingly disparate, shares a common thread in that both the lawyer and the actor rely heavily on their ability to convincingly assume a persona, thus blurring the lines between reality and fiction.

Robertson's foray into Hollywood began in 1930 and spanned several decades, with his on-screen presence often characterized by his portrayal of figures of authority, including medical professionals, politicians, military officers, and, in a delightful twist of irony, even lawyers.
