Will Kemp, a talented individual hailing from an English family with a brother and a sister, was born into a creative household. His father, a graphic designer, and his mother, a former model, instilled in him a strong foundation for artistic expression. At the tender age of nine, Will's mother suggested that he explore a new hobby, and thus, he began attending dance classes. This serendipitous discovery would prove to be his calling, as he would go on to develop a God-given talent for dancing.
With dedication and perseverance, Will earned a place in the prestigious Royal Ballet Seniors and later, the Royal Ballet Upper Class. At the age of 17, he auditioned for Matthew Bourne's esteemed dance company, Adventures in Motion Pictures (AMP),and was accepted into the fold. Will's exceptional performance in the original production of Swan Lake, where he played the lead role of the Swan, caught the attention of Paramount Studio head, Sherry Lansing, who dubbed him the "James Dean of Ballet."
Matthew Bourne continued to feature Will in his productions, including Cinderella, Spitfire, The Car Man, and Play Without Words. Notably, Will received a nomination for a Los Angeles Critics Drama Award for Outstanding Featured Performer for his role as the Pilot in Cinderella. In 2002, Will became a household name when he appeared in a GAP campaign for loose-fitted jeans, showcasing his impressive dance skills.
Will made his big-screen debut in Stephen Sommer's monster thriller, Van Helsing (2004),where he played the role of the Werewolf. He followed this up with a role in Renny Harlin's Mindhunters (2004),where he portrayed an FBI trainee tasked with solving a mock crime. As Will continues to make waves in the entertainment industry, he remains committed to his dancing career, balancing both his acting and dancing pursuits in England.
