Whit Kunschik was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a city that would serve as the backdrop for her early life and the genesis of her passion for filmmaking. She is of Native American, Czechoslovakian, and Swedish descent, a unique cultural heritage that would undoubtedly influence her artistic perspective.
Raised in a small town by her mother, step-father, and two sisters, Whit's love for film began to take shape at a remarkably young age. She received her first video camera at the tender age of 11, sparking a curiosity that would propel her towards a career in filmmaking. As she grew, Whit excelled in both the arts and athletics, earning a scholarship to play college basketball and later transferring to the University of Central Oklahoma, where she pursued a degree in Broadcasting and minored in History of Film.
Upon graduating, Whit relocated to New York City, where she further honed her craft by studying the Meisner Technique and working on a diverse range of projects, including music videos, commercials, and short films. Her professional journey eventually led her to Los Angeles, where she continues to study and grow as an artist at the esteemed Bojesse Christopher Truth Be Told Actors Collective.
