Wesley Alley is a multi-talented individual, hailing from a small, lesser-known ranch town in Idaho, where his passion for filmmaking was kindled during his childhood. This innate enthusiasm only intensified as he pursued his academic goals, enrolling at Boise State University to study performance and direction. Later, he earned a bachelor's degree in film production and a master's degree in entertainment business from Full Sail University, before making the move to Los Angeles and joining the prestigious IATSE Local 728, one of the world's most highly-trained lighting unions.
Wesley has made a significant impact in the industry, co-directing the feature film "The Voices" and showcasing his writing and directing skills in the productions "Sockmonster" and "Good Girl", both of which were produced in collaboration with Darren Lynn Bousman, the renowned director of the "Saw" franchise. His action-packed short film/proof of concept, "Four Hour Layover in Juarez", is another testament to his versatility, and his super fun Idaho Lottery Branded Content/short film, "Fleeced", is currently in post-production.
Beyond his work as a director, Wesley is a seasoned professional, having served as chief lighting technician on numerous projects, ranging from massive blockbusters like the "Transformers" franchise and "Kong: Skull Island" to smaller independent films like "Don Jon" and TV series such as "The Mandalorian", "Westworld", and "Twin Peaks".
In his creative endeavors, Wesley aims to craft films that not only entertain but also transport viewers to new and captivating worlds, providing a temporary escape from their daily lives.
