Wes Lagarde is a multifaceted American performer, born in Cut Off, Louisiana, a small Cajun town in southern Louisiana. With a rich cultural heritage, Lagarde's passion for the performing arts was ignited at a tender age of five, when he began to entertain audiences on stage and off.
As the son of a musician father and a dancer mother, Lagarde's love for the arts was deeply ingrained. He received formal training in vocal and piano lessons since Kindergarten, and his talent soon earned him leading roles in community theater and musicals, such as Tom Sawyer the Musical and Snow White in Cajun French: The Musical.
Lagarde's journey to becoming a successful actor began in 2008, when he enrolled in Caroline Wooldridge's Acting for Film class at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. During his time in Nashville, he also received vocal instruction from Anna Maria and piano instruction at Belmont University.
Seeking to expand his horizons, Lagarde relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana, to further his acting career. He has since starred and co-starred in numerous short films, including Jilting Ginny, directed by Beth Burris, and Better Angels, produced by Fairfield Studios.
Most recently, Lagarde gained widespread recognition for his role as one of the Treblemakers, affectionately known as "the guy with the hat," in the highly acclaimed and commercially successful feature film Pitch Perfect, starring Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow, directed by Jason Moore.
