Wesley Louden Borland was born on February 7th, 1975, in Richmond, Virginia, USA, and later moved to Tennessee with his family, where he attended and graduated from Hillsboro High School.
His family relocated once more to Florida after his father took up the role of Pastor at a Presbyterian Church, which led to Wes's family settling in the state.
Wesley has a remarkable talent in the art department, and his plans were to attend college for this talent before joining Limp Bizkit. This talent can be seen in his unique face paint and costumes, which he designs and creates himself.
Before joining Limp Bizkit, Wes was part of a band called Goatslayer, which consisted of his long-time friends Kyle Weeks and Greg Isabelle. Both of whom are now members of his current bands, BIGdumbFACE and Eat the Day.
Wes officially left Limp Bizkit on October 12th, 2001, and shortly after, he announced that the members of his side project, BIGdumbFACE, would be carried over and renamed Eat the Day.
Wesley's parents are Tom and Sally Borland, residents of Jacksonville, Florida, and he has an only sibling, Scott Borland, who is also a member of BIGdumbFACE and Eat the Day.
In April 1998, Wes married his long-time girlfriend, Heather McMillen, and the second leading lady in his life is his ceramic bunny, Lucy, which he takes everywhere, including on stage.
Wes quit smoking in February 1999 and eventually stopped taking medication for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (A.D.H.D.).
Wesley and his wife currently reside in Los Angeles, California's Griffith Park, and his guitar of choice is Ibanez Guitars.
For those curious, Wes stands at 6'1" in height, has three tattoos, and listens to a wide range of music, including Tori Amos, Air, Metallica, Ween, and more.
