Werner Riedel, a man of remarkable resilience and determination, entered this world on February 11, 1930, in the charming city of Freiburg, Germany, to Gustav and Helene Riedel. Growing up amidst the tumultuous backdrop of World War II, Werner's formative years were marked by hardship and adversity, which would later shape his unyielding character.
As a 14-year-old, Werner embarked on his life's work as an electrician, a profession that would become an integral part of his identity. Years later, at the age of 29, he made the bold decision to leave his native Germany behind and set sail for the United States, driven by a burning desire to chase the American dream.
Upon his arrival in the States, Werner began working for a local electrical company, where he toiled diligently until he mastered the English language. It was this newfound linguistic proficiency that empowered him to take the leap of faith and establish Riedel Electric in 1963, with the esteemed title of Master Electrician.
