Wendi's academic journey began at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where she majored in accounting, laying the foundation for a future filled with numerical precision and financial acumen.

However, her professional path took a dramatic turn when she landed her first job in radio, marking the beginning of a long and illustrious career in the industry.

After leaving her radio job, Wendi relocated to Dallas, where she became a poster girl for Miller Beer, a role that showcased her charismatic personality and captivating charm.

Two years later, KIIS-FM in Los Angeles offered her a late-night radio shift, providing her with the opportunity to hone her skills and build a loyal following.

In a bold move, a Japanese radio station hired Wendi to create and host nightly radio shows featuring romantic songs, a venture that catapulted her to international fame.
