Biography

Wayne Hope is a multifaceted creative force, excelling as an actor, writer, director, and producer, all while co-founding the esteemed production company Gristmill with his wife, the talented Robyn Butler.

As an actor, Wayne has made a lasting impression in a range of iconic comedies, including the 1997 film The Castle, the 1998 television series The Micallef Program, and the 2008 television series Very Small Business, which he also co-wrote and produced.

In addition to his acting prowess, Wayne has co-created, produced, and directed several celebrated and award-winning comedies, including The Librarians (2007),Upper Middle Bogan (2013),and Little Lunch (2015),all of which premiered on ABC TV. His impressive resume also includes the Netflix/ABC series The InBESTigators (2019) and the feature film Now Add Honey (2015).
